Word Crimes by Weird Al

Happy birthday to me! Also on this momentous day is the upload of a new Weird Al parody song and I think it is amazing. Not only does it have some awesome motion graphics, which makes it appropriate for me to talk about here, but it is a parody of Blurred Lines and talks about using proper grammar, something that I am all about. I’m fluent in two, English and Chinese, studied Spanish and Japanese and am currently trying to learn Italian, so language, diction, and proper grammar has become a part of my life. I think using your words properly reflects upon you yourself as a person so whenever my brother tries to tell me that “it’s the internet, not an English test” I just think is ridiculous reasoning.
